With the innovative systems offered by REHAU, the zero-consumption house is not longer merely a utopian fantasy. The three pillars of REHAU energy efficiency are: reduce energy loss, make optimal use of energy and efficiently generate energy. Thanks to the outstanding insulation properties of REHAU window and curtain wall systems, energy loss can already be significantly reduced. REHAU geothermal probes or collectors, the REHAU air-geothermal heat exchanger and REHAU solar and photovoltaic systems provide significant reductions in heating costs and emissions. The energy generated by these alternatives is then efficiently exploited by REHAU surface heating systems. The biomass is another example of the use of regenerative energy. Approximately 330 biogas facilities in Austria provide people with electricity and thermal heat. REHAU has developed a completely new pipe for the fermenters. RAUGEO Plus Bio improves heat input and lowers hydrocarbon input into the heating circuit by means of a barrier. RAUTHERMEX thermal pipe provides optimal heat supply. REHAU, in its role as a leading provider, also offers piping technology for other components of a biogas system. Since its beginnings in 1948, our company has grown on the basis of its own strength to become a corporate group active around the world. Today, more than 14,000 employees at more than 170 locations around the globe ensure REHAU’s growth and success. REHAU Southeast Europe In the year 1956 the first foreign subsidiary of the REHAU Group was founded in Austria. Since 1996 also the business management for Southeast Europe is positioned in the Lower-Austrian Guntramsdorf. From here Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Romania, Serbia-Montenegro, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic and Ukraine are being served in Marketing and Sales, Application Technique, Materials Management, Organisation and Human Resources.
