| Use of biomass promotion and old boilers exchange | |
| Nowadays in Pomurje a big amount of households have heating on wood biomass. However, the boilers installed are mostly out-of-date, while modern district heating systems are in great demand. There are only three big systems installed, which don’t operate optimal and that is why it doesn’t give a positive influence onto investors. In the faze of the strategy planning on local level we are trying to introduce these systems and persuade the authorities, that it’s worth planning common heating systems indeed. In the faze of preparing the strategy documents usually it manages to include an offer for installation of the district heating system. However, it comes to difficulties right during the faze of gaining the contracting parties and permissions. We need the partners, who are going to help us by initiative studies preparation, offers and above all by preparation of SWOT analyses of different district heating systems on wood biomass. | |

| Biodiesel – a fuel of countryside | |
| The final target is establishing a self-supply system for the country households, who have at their disposal unexploited capacity of agricultural pieces of lands. Just so in that quota could be included the lands obligated to fallow ground. With this fact we would make possible the mayor energy independence to the inhabitants as well as reduction on the energy costs. Biodiesel could be used as fuel for the agricultural machinery and as an energy source for the heating systems in buildings. | |
