| nahwaerme.at is a network of companies and partners, developing, building and operating biomass plants in Austria since over 15 years. We are part of the innovative Austrian way of using biomass for district heating. Our references include small biomass and solar heating systems as well as medium size district heating plants. The members of nahwaerme.at are consultants, engineers, farmers, forestry experts, plumbers, operators, service technicians. | |

| We are developing, building and operating biomass plants in Austria and seek for partners | |
| We are building and operating biomass plants in combination with solar energy in Austria. We secure the heat supply of 17 districts in Austria and additional we operate 12 further decentralised biomass plants with solar energy. Our biggest project is operating in Wagrain/Salzburg. This is a heating plant with a power input of 9.500 kW, an annual heat output of 15.000 MWh and the boiler output is 9.500 kW. In Gleinstätten/Styria we are operating a plant with a solar collector area of about 1.400 m² and a logistic centre for wood chips. You find further information about our projects at our homepage. www.nahwaerme.at. Our corporate philosophy is finding regional partners for building and operating biomass plants. In general we found new companies with our partners in the region of the planned district heating system. nahwaerme.at incorporates know-how of long standing into the new firm. The regional implementation and the continual supply with biomass are secured from the operators locally. We are looking for interested operators in Germany and Canada for building and operating biomass plants in combination with solar energy collectors in these regions. | |

| We have enveloped a concept of the wood chip logistics network with a biomass district heating | |
| The innovative Technology of the plant in Gleinstätten is a very attractive due to the integrated wood chip logistics in the operation of the plant with biomass heat generation and a large-scale solar plant. Part of the storage building is a screening plant that utilizes the biomass feeding of the heat plant. The screening of biomass allows converting a dusty, multi-sized bio fuel into a high quality material usable for customer deliveries. Fraction dust-contents, G30, G50 and G100 are separated from each other. Larger fractions fall of the end of the screening pipe and are used for the operation of the Gleinstätten heat plant. A surplus of energy provided by the solar plant can be used for wood chip drying. This concept allows the purchase or cheap material for the use in the plant and at the same time to sell the clean and sorted fractions to customers. | |
