International conference on green buildings

Goal

This public conference - sponsored by the Central European Initiative (CEI) and the State Government of Lower Austria - aims at the exchange of know-how and experience between the 9 CEI EU-Member States and 9 CEI Non-EU-Member States regarding sustainable building and housing, low energy houses and so called "passive houses".

Information on the development of green buildings in Austria and in individual selected CEI MS (legal framework, financial incentives, role of networks and clusters, best practice, actors, etc)
Policy of Lower Austria in the field of buildings, energy and environment
Most advanced technologies used in the "Business Centre Lower Austria"
Economic effects of energy efficiency measures in passive house-buildings
Developments of the passive and low energy house markets in CEI countries

Participants

The organizers address building experts, government officials, regional, national and international organizations from CEI countries - both from EU and Non EU member states - interested in potentials and framework conditions for energy efficient buildings in the CEI region - as well as private companies, and interested financing institutions.
